UPDATE- PBWN rescinded - PREVIOUS- Water off starting at 8:00am on Depot St for April 27th, PBWN

Update- The precautionary boil water notice has been rescinded. 

 

Residents and businesses of the City of Bonifay residing on Depot St. from Hwy 90 to Folmar.

Saturday April 27th, 2024  Beginning at approximately 8am, contractors will be working on Depot St. and the water will be off 4-6 Hours.

Therefore, as a precaution on this day April 27th, 2024, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used. This is only a precautionary measure being done until we can positively assure our customers that the water is safe.  The City of Bonifay apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and will be making every effort to return your water service to normal operation as soon as possible.

This Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until the bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. We will update all notification places once the notice is lifted.
